Classic Sausage Balls

Need a quick but filling breakfast?

Perhaps an appetizer?

An only 3 ingredient breakfast meal?

Well, let's revisit the forgotten sausage ball...

This seems like one of those great little treats that people love, but forget about.

So, I am here to bring it back.

I love to whip these out for breakfast. It is easy, quick to make, warm, fulfilling and everyone seems to love them. (Especially at my house, a home filled with people who are not big on breakfast, I hate to say that because breakfast really is your most important meal, but it is what it is!)

Sausage Balls
makes ~ 3 to 3 ½ dozen

Ingredients

1 package of Hot Sausage (can use regular sausage if you prefer)
1 ½ C. of bisquick
2 C. sharp cheddar cheese (not finely shredded)

Mix sausage, bisquick, and cheese together in a large bow by hand.

Mix until all of the bisquick and cheese are fully incorporated.

See how it all leaves the sides of the bowl, just like dough!
Form into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet.

Bake a 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 min., or until lightly browned.

Serve warm with your favorite jelly!

Quick and easy and the best part is, you usually have leftovers!!

So, Happy Weekend!
Hope you wake up to some sausage balls this weekend!

Until Next Time,
Happy Baking!
